Is Xfer Records’ Cthulhu worth getting?
It’s a good plugin but you won’t make a good house chord progression or any EDM progression with just bach’s chorale they’re just not fit for EDM lol. I usually play with it until I get a progression of 2-3 chords that I like and then try to build the rest of the prog myself.
Id say it’s a great plugin for spawning ideas but it won’t make a track for you. Also the demo is free and doesn’t have any limitations so just get it.
It’s very fun and easy to use, although I’ve found that I very rarely actually use it. If you make or want to make chordal music, definitely worth the money (it’s really inexpensive). Definitely a fun starting point for making cool new sounds.
You get to pick a scale, and every note you play generates a chord in that scale. Pretty nifty if you can’t music theory. Deadmau5 uses it for everything.
