The team at TMG rate Xpand 2 at 7/10. The good performance and simple to use, yet powerful interface combined with a good selection of quality sounds make this a very good contender to big name VSTs like Omnisphere without taking a too big hit on the wallet.

I thank XPand is great for pads and in general for ambient background sounds. Strings are also very good imo and it has many other quite good sounds in other categories. And you can also create your own sounds by combining up to 4 different sounds together. I bought it on sale too and I use it a lot, so yeah it’s a plugin worth buying.

Yes buy it its worth the full price tbh. I use it all the time for pads and arps when ive exhausted or over used omni sounds. also there ethnic sounds are dope kalmibas, piccilos…
I like it a lot, it has some really cool sounds, at least to me, and i got it for like $7 on plugin boutique awhile back, it’s great
I literally use it on 90 percent of my tracks so I’d definitely say go for it!
