Apollo Brown Drum Kit contains drums and sounds made by the contemporary producer legend known for his gritty drums and meticulous sample flips, Apollo Brown.

He has produced for the likes of OC, Ras Kass, Joell Ortiz, Ghostface Killah, Skyzoo, Danny Brown, MOP, Roc Marciano, Guilty Simpson, Planet Asia, and Westside Gunn just to name a few.

Apollo states,  “When I create music, I’m a firm believer in simplicity, especially when it comes to my drums. I’ve never wanted to take away from the feeling of the sample, so I’ve always kept my drum patterns at a minimum, while still remaining effective.

With that said, I love good dirty drum sounds, and I’ve been collecting drums for over 20 years. Although I’ve dug up, chopped, and collected thousands of drums, I’ve always found myself gravitating towards a select couple hundred hits that tend to work for me and my particular sound. I’ve decided to box’em up.
