GPU Audio has announced the launch of a beat-making competition, alongside a free sample pack to get you off the ground.
The ‘GPU Audio Beat Battle’ will take place over the month of August, putting the submitted entries in a series of head-to-head battles, in a football World Cup format.
Over $2,000 of prizes are on offer for the winners including software from MNTRA, Audio Thing, Sonible, Bedroom Producer Blog, MusicByLukas, and more.
To enter, make a beat over 1 minute long and submit it via the Beat Battle Channel on the GPU Audio Discord Server with a short (maximum 300-word) description of how you made it.
The competition is open for entries now, with submissions closing on the 24th of August, followed by a week of voting – putting the beats head-to-head to decide the overall winner! A number of live Discord events will accompany the competition, starting with the launch on the 2nd of August.
